How Much Does Money Cost?
How much would you pay for a residual income? How much would you pay for a letter that generates repeat business? How much would you pay for a site that brings in thousands of dollars worth of sales?
These are the kinds of things you're paying for when you do business with a serious copywriter like myself. I don't just deliver an arrangement of words...I deliver a way to make your campaign more profitable.
But before getting into prices, let me get this out of the way. I don't do pornographic material...or even morally questionable material. I also don't get into online gambling. I can write for the women's target audience, but not for fashion.
Now as for the prices:
- Sales Letters: Usually around $2300 for a four page letter. A shorter letter doesn't necessarily mean lower price, but a longer one will almost always mean a higher price. This includes 'sales letter' webpages.
- Catalog / Product Descriptions: Count on paying around $95 per product description. This does NOT include a sales letter type of description...the kind that you see on my home page. The web site content that I charge only $95 for is a general 'catalog' type of copy, perhaps SEOd for good search engine results. If you want a general website, like a contact, about us, and home page, I'll have to find out more about your project and then give you an estimate.
- Brochures: For a one page (two sided) brochure, I charge around $800. That doesn't include designing. I'm not a designer, but I work with one that I trust, so let me know if you need a good one.
- Emails: I don't write spam letters. If that's what you want, then don't tell me what you're using it for, cause I'll hang up on you (I might even throw a few insults your way). But for auto-responder series of letters, I consider it a sales letter (see above) broken up into smaller pieces. Just tell me what you need and I can give you a precise estimate.
- Press Releases: $300. This is for the press release itself...meaning you have an event or subject already planned and want something written to send to a newspaper, radio station, or online distribution service. For more in-depth publicity help, click here...
- Proofreading / Editing: My proofreader and editor are both for hire via Copy For Sale services. My proofreader is one of the strict English experts who often slaps my hand with a ruler when I mispell a word in emails that I send her...but she knows her stuff. My editor is ruthless with her red pen...and she doesn't hold back at all when she decides I didn't word something right. If you have a project, let me know and I can give you an estimate. (BTW)
You can email me by clicking here. Or call me at 513-941-0269. You might have to leave a message because there's only one of me and I'm kept pretty busy (work at home with 6 kids).
